I'm In The Book! | Illustration

Well, I can finally say that... I'm in the Drawn Volume.1 book! It's feel amazing to be in the book, that's one of my dreams, to have my illustrations in the book. All the illustrators' work in there are astonishing.   Here's the sneak peak GIF of inside the Drawn. This is part of Illustration projects 3, for Text, Image, Narrative project. I chose to do the competition from House of Illustration/Folio Society, the task is to create cover for 3 ghost stories, which are The Treasure of Abbot Thomas by M.R. James, A Tale of an Empty House by E.F.Benson and The Upper Berth by F.Marion Crawford. I had some thought that i could do my illustration in such a dark eerie way, massively different as my style is nature, an innocent illustration. Even though in my spare time, i do watch some horror films, with my younger sister, and she had some horror books as well. Which i'll be getting more concepts for this project before sent off in final. These concepts i did when i judged from the titles, before i read through. Some concepts after i read through these three stories. Developments For Final Major Project | Graphic Design

This is the final ever project for this graphic design. This blog i am going to talk about my idea, what i've made as development, and the drawing style. So, the idea for FMP is  that I am going to make a Poem book of dogs. The ideal target audience of this is for ages 3-10. With the drawing style or as you would really call illustration, i researched on some illustrator to see their illustration technique, i have looked on Lucia Emanuela Curzi, Katharine Asher and Jacqueline Bissett, their illustration all in fact are wet media techniques, such as watercolour.
