Poppy and Dandelion | First Pet Portrait Commission | Art

Image
It’s 2nd day of the year, happy New Year! Also this is the first blog post this year, this one is quite a promising one. So last month (and last year), I did my first commission to do a pet portrait. However, this client is my sister, but she paid me as I calculated the pet portrait commission cost, she also paid me a bar of chocolate as a tip of my service, can’t say no as I love chocolate, can I? Heheh. Anyway, she wanted me to paint two French bulldogs, a surprise Christmas and farewell gift for her client.  This is the style I painted for pet portrait, some plants and/or flowers as background detail. For this portrait, using these two flowers that are their names, Poppy and Dandelion. I have received a feedback recently, they loved it! The Day I Went To London | Illustration

Image
I went to London yesterday with my university 'gang', as research, experiment learning and exploring for my professional practise work. Took the train from my hometown, as it's only an hour from here to London. Got off the train in St Pancras Station, walked to Euston Station to meet the gang then start the gallery visits. Got home about 6ish in the evening, it was long tiring day. Even though on the outside i was quite enjoying with such a very little smile, but in the inside i'm still grieving about my family dog of 13 years, Max, passed away this month and my foster rabbit also passed away on the day before visit to London. It's really devastating and overwhelming, the recovering will come soon...

Documentary | Photography | Graphic Design

This project we were doing the documentary photography, you just documenting on something or someone's life, for a week. I chose to documenting on my dog, Max, about his "retirement" (he didn't have a job or what, he's a family dog for his whole life). Photographing on his daily routine, basically he sleep, eat, walk, play, as well as his beautiful face. And after a week of photographs, we have to make a video, as you would see it on tv, but in photos. So i'm going to throw every photos i've taken, here are many photograph of my old boy. Enjoy! ...
