Birds’ Gal Hangout and Pigeon Stay Together | Galentine and Valentine Greeting Card | Illustration

Image
Hello lovelies. I have two new listings in my Etsy shop! I have produced greeting cards for the upcoming celebrations, one is Valentines and one is Galentines, as Valentines is certainly more popular than Galentine but I’m thinking about all the single ladies, they do deserve some loves from their best gals. These little birds on Galentine card, the blue tits and female house sparrows, I imagined them as they’re hanging out together and twitting some gossips. I thought it’s cute! And the valentine card, two wood pigeons, although they’re the dopiest birds, they’re also affectionate to each other. With these two nuzzling to groom each other’s feathers, I thought its looks lovable! Before I ended it here, Galentine’s and Valentine’s Day are nearly 2 weeks, so I put down the links if you get them! Poppy and Dandelion | First Pet Portrait Commission | Art

Image
It’s 2nd day of the year, happy New Year! Also this is the first blog post this year, this one is quite a promising one. So last month (and last year), I did my first commission to do a pet portrait. However, this client is my sister, but she paid me as I calculated the pet portrait commission cost, she also paid me a bar of chocolate as a tip of my service, can’t say no as I love chocolate, can I? Heheh. Anyway, she wanted me to paint two French bulldogs, a surprise Christmas and farewell gift for her client.  This is the style I painted for pet portrait, some plants and/or flowers as background detail. For this portrait, using these two flowers that are their names, Poppy and Dandelion. I have received a feedback recently, they loved it! That’s good for a first time, since this is a surprise gift their owner didn’t ask how they want it to look but the person who gifted them, and yet they still loves it.  If you’re interested in getting a pet portrait and you like my style, contact
