April the Rabbit | Happy Easter | Illustration

Image
Happy Easter! Got some chocolate eggs yourself? I had some and I’ll devour them tonight, then I’ll be in chocolate coma. Heheh.  So here’s my painting of cute Easter rabbit dropping two Easter eggs off by the Easter Lily, before hopping away. Speaking of rabbit, I have two products that I’ve listed in my Etsy shop, are the mug and tote bag. Here’s a tote bag, got two options of colour, white and cotton, the material is sturdy you can carry some bottles of drink and frozen foods, I’ve done it with heavy frozen foods, hold really well! And here’s a mug, a ceramic printed in vibrant colour, and it’s dishwasher and microwave safe, which is a good thing I suppose! Thinking of them for next year Easter gift? Do it! Also perfect gift for rabbit lovers. Hope you had a nice Easter and enjoy eating your chocolate eggs if you have some!

Reopened my Etsy shop! | Announcement | Art Diary

Image
I’ve got an announcement to make… I’ve reopened my Etsy shop! I have been planning this for a couple of years, lots of ideas and researching, and some encouragement and optimism from my friends and family , now’s the time and I’m ready for it. I’m quite exciting but at the same time nervous, I had some hope that it’ll be quite successful, more than I had 7 years ago. So what’s in my shop. At the moments I’m selling some Christmas greeting cards, which is perfect right now because it’ll be Christmas soon! Also, I did a makeover with my shop! They’re more fitting to my art style than it was before, as well as more nicely. Now planning on working on my story (with photos and video, ooooh), possibly at the start of next year as at the moment it’ll be quite busy, for this time of the year. These bird artworks from above are my Christmas birds collection that I’m selling as greeting cards in my shop at the moment. Very festive to send your family and friends for this Christmas! To shop the

Painting Process of ‘Kingfisher contemplating the Damselfly’ | Big Painting Project No’1 | Illustration

In this blog, I’m talking about the painting process of this big painting, as well as what inspired me. First things first, what inspired me to do the big painting, for the first time. All thanks to my work colleague! She’s not really a painter but she actually found her new talent with the painting recently. When she said, many months ago, that she’ll try painting for the first time with the canvas that sat in her house for ages, this canvas is not the small size for the first try, no, it was huge, roughly A1 size. I thought that was very brave of her to do it, especially for the first time. Each time she painted it, she showed me the photos of her process and we talked about what to add, the inspiration, the colours, the failure and success. She even surprised herself with how good her painting is, I also was very impressed by her big painting! Speaking of inspiration, she searched the images search of large paintings, including the birds for me. With every image she showed me, the

Kingfisher Contemplating the Damselfly | Big Painting Project No’1 | Illustration

Guess what… I finally finished this painting! All that little free time I had since mid-April, it’s finished and framed, looks great, doesn’t it?  Right now, I’m debating whether this painting is going to be on my wall or sell it. Here are all these close-up details from the painting, and the best bit of this is has a metallic! Looks amazeballs, right? As I mentioned from the beginning, if you’re really interested in buying this painting, let me know in the comment! (in U.K only) Thanks for reading and have a lovely week! (P.s. I looked tiny with my framed artwork, hahaha. 😆)
