For Long-standing loveable couple | Wedding Anniversary | Handmade Greeting Card

Image
Helloooo! What I’ve done this month? Well, I have been painting a card for the long-standing loveable couple, who celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. Guess what, this couple is my aunt and uncle! I remembered their summery June wedding in 2003, and I was their bridesmaid. I was 10, I remembered the colour of the dress I wore, the bridesmaid bouquets, my aunt’s tropical bouquet and her creamy satin dress, the lovely weather on their special day! The meanings of the swan, flowers and colour I’ve painted on this wedding anniversary, with the mute swan they represents together forever, strong bond and family. As well as they’re very elegant bird, especially they can makes a heart shaped with the long neck. There are two flowers surrounded the swans, the little purple flower is aster, the reason to use this flower is because in modern day for a bouquet, also became the traditional bouquet, a gift for someone’s 20th wedding anniversary. Even though there a variety of colours aster ha

Hello lovelies. Did you know yesterday was Earth Day? A reminder for our home planet, we should be kind and do something to help. We can reduce the plastic uses, swap to reusable items, eat less meat, reduce food wastes, and plants some trees! This is the flower I painted to use as collage the shape of earth, and with two colours to tinted this flower, which give some details of water and land. Pretty, isn’t it? Have a nice day. 🌍💚

What Inspired Me? - Easter | Illustration

Hello and happy Monday, of course it’s bank holiday today so it is good Monday. Heheh. So, bit of surprise in this blog, I did a chatting video! The very first video that I was talking, I was actually so nervous talking like this, to the camera as well, don’t know what and how to talk like this particular things, I just went along and hoping it makes sense. So, please be kind, I did my best. 😅😅😅 In this video I talk about my two products, a mug and tote bag, why I thought they’re ideal Easter gifts (and gifts for rabbit lovers of course), and what inspired me to use this painting onto products and to paint by illustrate what rabbit went through, as well as making them looked beautiful, and at the same time have a happy ending. If you have watched it, I thank you and really appreciate it. Remember, rabbits are for life, not just for Easter. Thanks!

Happy Easter! Got some chocolate eggs yourself? I had some and I’ll devour them tonight, then I’ll be in chocolate coma. Heheh.  So here’s my painting of cute Easter rabbit dropping two Easter eggs off by the Easter Lily, before hopping away. Speaking of rabbit, I have two products that I’ve listed in my Etsy shop, are the mug and tote bag. Here’s a tote bag, got two options of colour, white and cotton, the material is sturdy you can carry some bottles of drink and frozen foods, I’ve done it with heavy frozen foods, hold really well! And here’s a mug, a ceramic printed in vibrant colour, and it’s dishwasher and microwave safe, which is a good thing I suppose! Thinking of them for next year Easter gift? Do it! Also perfect gift for rabbit lovers. Hope you had a nice Easter and enjoy eating your chocolate eggs if you have some!

Mallard Duck’s Mother Love | Greeting Card | Illustration

Image
Hellooo. I’ve added this new greeting card in my Etsy shop, for Mother’s Day! A sweet greeting card of Mallard duck, a mother and her duckling, with a flower of pink carnation. I thought duck and duckling would make it more cute for Mother’s Day card, how little ducklings following their mother with their waddling little legs. And the mothers, when one or few of her ducklings get lost or stuck, she stay close and finds them, communicating with quacks so she can navigate them by hearing their calls. As this mother duck would say, no ducklings left behind! Did you know, the pink carnation flowers traditionally gifted for Mother’s Day and pink symbolises gratitude and love. This cute card are for mum, mum-to-be, step-mum, grandmother, and even for the one who step up to be your mums! Even the duckling is a baby, it doesn’t matter for all of the older children and adults, because mums sees you as her baby, even my mum say the same to me and both of my siblings!  Get this card from Etsy,

Birds’ Gal Hangout and Pigeon Stay Together | Galentine and Valentine Greeting Card | Illustration

Image
Hello lovelies. I have two new listings in my Etsy shop! I have produced greeting cards for the upcoming celebrations, one is Valentines and one is Galentines, as Valentines is certainly more popular than Galentine but I’m thinking about all the single ladies, they do deserve some loves from their best gals. These little birds on Galentine card, the blue tits and female house sparrows, I imagined them as they’re hanging out together and twitting some gossips. I thought it’s cute! And the valentine card, two wood pigeons, although they’re the dopiest birds, they’re also affectionate to each other. With these two nuzzling to groom each other’s feathers, I thought its looks lovable! Before I ended it here, Galentine’s and Valentine’s Day are nearly 2 weeks, so I put down the links if you get them! Poppy and Dandelion | First Pet Portrait Commission | Art

Image
It’s 2nd day of the year, happy New Year! Also this is the first blog post this year, this one is quite a promising one. So last month (and last year), I did my first commission to do a pet portrait. However, this client is my sister, but she paid me as I calculated the pet portrait commission cost, she also paid me a bar of chocolate as a tip of my service, can’t say no as I love chocolate, can I? Heheh. Anyway, she wanted me to paint two French bulldogs, a surprise Christmas and farewell gift for her client.  This is the style I painted for pet portrait, some plants and/or flowers as background detail. For this portrait, using these two flowers that are their names, Poppy and Dandelion. I have received a feedback recently, they loved it! That’s good for a first time, since this is a surprise gift their owner didn’t ask how they want it to look but the person who gifted them, and yet they still loves it.  If you’re interested in getting a pet portrait and you like my style, contact
