Sleepy Fox In The Jar | Craft Illustration

Image
Hello all. Had a splendid Christmas? I enjoyed it very much, with christmas feast, presents, films and some fun games with my family. ☺ This blog I am writing about is the fox sculpture (clay) in the jar. I made this as a christmas present for my little sister's boyfriend, who likes foxes. I came up with the idea in late September, started to make it in November and finished in mid December in a panic way, with very little spare time I have as I have some presents to wrap, more presents to buy and work. Though it was all good, all wrapped up and placed it under the christmas tree. The materials I used for sculpture in jar, for the sculpture I use air-dry modelling clay, a fitting shape glass jar and acrylic paints. With these photos I did in progress stages, first stage was to take out the clay and shaping into the fox and the position I wanted, as the fox lay down in curl as the fox sleeping cosy. Then I waited for a week to dry. I then painted in thre

This Flower Reminded Me Of... | Illustration

Hi all! The heatwave is still here in the U.K., although I got back from Cyprus few days ago, with my family and my brother's friend. I had an incredible holiday there, very enjoyable time, the beach, the lounger and pool that hotel we all stayed in have, were splendid. The temperature was hot, that we weren't used to it but doesn't really bothering us, because that's the point of going on holiday, just to bask in before going home. Anyway, I did the illustration of flower, I use the watercolour as I did with my pansies illustration, it's in Spring Bank Holiday blog. I've done this just a little over a month ago, I was inspired to illustrate it because they caught my eyes in my garden, how small and stand out they are in the garden, especially in this particular weather. This flower is called the California Poppy. Although the weather wasn't that much of sunshine, yet it was warm. Even I have to edited these photos to brighten up. Here's the

Spring Bank Holiday | Illustration

It's another bank holiday Monday this month, today it's Spring bank holiday. The weather today is slightly warm but cloudy, barely any sunshine. Even yesterday was scorching and Saturday was nice, although were expected to be thurderstorm in the day time for whole weekend but it didn't, can't really predict the weather. Anyway, today I did some waterpaint on Pansies, one of my absolute favourite flowers. I have so many of them in the garden, I took some pictures in sunshine to admire them, that's when I got inspired to do illustration on my spare time. These are the photos I took in beautiful weather. I waterpainted each of these pansies from the photos on here. So here are the pansies watercolour illustrations, when the sun was finally out! I actually really enjoyed doing them, and am thrilled by how they're looks, i'm impressive with myself and my waterpaint skill.  Have a love

May Day | Illustration

It's May Day bank holiday in the U.K, with this splendid weather, still! I've spend May Day being outside, inspired to draw the bird again. This bird I have drawn was male Dartford Warbler, that have such an astonish colours combination. Firstly, I sketched the bird in pencil, if I'm happy how it's looks, then used the pen for outline details, here's the result. To this. The close-up GIF. Again, I enjoy it very much drawing it outside in this weather. Hope you have a lovely May Day!

Drawing The Cirl Bunting In The Sun | Illustration

Image
Hello all. Yesterday, the weather in the U.K was blissful, the temperature had reached to 23°c with just sunshine all day. Looking at the weather I thought, I could go outside and do some bird drawing, so I did also with lot of suncream slap on me. I illustrated female Cirl Bunting with her wings as she fly, here's the speed drawing animation. And here's the outcome of my Cirl Bunting illustration. I have really enjoyed drawing in this weather yesterday, yet, today is even warmer and I'll be having a veggie BBQ later. Have a lovely Sunday in this splendid weather! 😀

Happy Mother's Day | Illustration

Happy Mother's Day! The U.K had their Mother's Day on 11th March, which was two days ago! I have gave my mum something meaningful, a card illustrated by me! My concept was to have a bird and flower as a wreath, with them that are her favourites, which are robin (British) and carnation. My first thought of using the media was waterpaint, the colourpencil was the back up plan, I had hope that my waterpaint skill is good than before. Also, the card I used is the size of 4"x6", to illustrate so small that the waterpaint will be easy. So here's first sketchbook page of my experiment of waterpaint. I thought this looking really good, better than I expected. Then I tried out what colourpencil would look like on flowers.   This illustration of carnation flowers, as in colourpencil, may looks good but that's in 13cm square. I thought that I would like it when I illustrate small as in 1cm, especially with some details on flowers, I'l
