It had been quite a while since last blog, the past few months have been difficult. With my grandma's health problem.  She was admitted to hospital from end of September, returned to care home beginning of October. Her health was in balance for a while, but suddenly decreased. She passed away at the end of October, at the age of 94. I was absolutely heartbroken, she was my favourite grandmother. My mother was devastated as well as my uncle, they're missing their mother very much, they only have each other since both of their parents has passed, 21 years ago with their father, then their mother few weeks ago.  My mum, my uncle, his girlfriend, my brother, my sister and I had been to my grandma's funeral few days ago. There were some of relatives and grandma's close friends there, also my mum's friends for moral support.  It was really hard to think of her gone and saying goodbye, yet the weather was really lovely, despite the fact that it was quite chilly....

It was in the early summer 2014, I was a university student from 2nd year, went to final year, clearing up my Grandma's house as she had to move to care home because of her dementia as well as she got arthritis. She was 92 years old and she had been living alone for 18 years, since my Granddad passed away from cancer. She's an very old lady. Sorting out so many of old stuff is like a treasure to my brother, sister and I. Especially the old toys, ornaments, board games, photos and old jigsaw puzzles. Also old memories for my mum and uncle. So, we all did do sorting Grandma's stuff. Until then, what I ended up is that I found my mum's souvenir back in 1974, when she was 14, a beautiful collection of Archibald Thorburn's illustrations. They're British shorebirds, even though three of these shorebirds are no longer in British shorelines. Here are some photos of Thorburn's shorebird illustrations. Now that i'm finished graphic design from college, going to university in October, i have fresher week on the last week of September. So here what i've been doing. Back in June, i received the saddest news, my grandma had a cancer, again, it was found in her spine and spread across her body, there's nothing they can do to stop it. On that day in June, she lost it and passed away. I was absolutely devastated, i grew up with her in my life and she's gone is something that i will be trying to get used to feel and think that she's not here. I'm learning to drive and she want to be here when i pass the driving test, i'm going to university and she want to be here to comfort me when university work stress me out, i'm single and she want to be here talking about the boyfriend i'll be dating and i will graduate in 2015 and she want to be here being so proud. I'll have to accept that it's life, these thing always happen...
