  Hello hello. This is about an update on the big painting project that I started back in April, around Easter weekend. How far have I done? Well, I’ve finished painting the wildflowers so it’s the Kingfisher left to paint.  Here’s a photo for a sneak peek; I was planning to finish this by end of June, but unfortunately, I was so busy for most of these weekends as well as had a holiday last week, that I was struggling to find some free time to continue what’s left. Today it’s July, this painting is not finished, and the next few weekends are going to be busy. So I thought not needed to set a deadline, I just have to paint as much as I can whenever I have some free time. But the funny thing is, I have started the second big painting, even though I haven’t finished the first one. Heheheheh. 😂 Anyway, thanks for reading and the weekend had been good.

Hello hello hello. Just a little blog of my new ideas I like to chat about. 😁 As you can see the sketchpad that I had sketched, a sneak peek of my new ideas for painting! This one is big, like 2 times bigger than I usually paint. It's different but I think I'll be having fun. Hehehe. I will start doing this project possibly in May, after a few paintings I planned to do when I don't have a lot on my plate! But at the moment, I'm searching for smooth and thick papers to use for painting, once I have them, I'm good to go! Besides, I'd like to thank my work friend who inspired me to go big on painting. Thanks, Rina! 😆

Pondering through the window as the darkness come, finished my painting for the day. I have been thinking about the summer, having longer daylight, a greener front garden and warmth. Last night, the daylight went at 6.50-ish, we are getting closer to the long daylight! Meaning I'll be continuing to illustrate until 8pm for my relaxing times. I actually prefer natural light to work on my arts, better to see all the small details and colours. I had the pre-drawn kingfisher onto cotton, i thought of the beads i had been kept for so many year and could redesign the kingfisher. This is the result of kingfisher bead art, looks better in frame. I will get the photographs first for my Etsy shop, you will see what it will look like in frame.

Finally finished the animation and is ready for the show. I even got a little emotional at the end, i thought this will be good in show, hopefully.

Scene 7/9. The quickest scene out of all. Now i'm off to bed.

Scene 6/9. I'm taking a little break, just writing this blog, it's nearly midnight, i'll probably be done by 1 o'clock and go to bed.

Half way to completing this animation for fmp|degree show. This actually taking long time to make each scene. Yet, i haven’t start 4 A2 drawings. 😰

This is a really busy, tiring project, i have been given the live project brief before christmas break. A long list of competitions and short information of independent project. I have written down some thoughts for this project, it was three weeks worth of ideas.  I have thought of craft selling in public stall, window installation, only focus on nature or animal charity shop, Interflora competition, Cheltenham Illustration Awards competition, Deaffest competition, also some suggestion idea from my lecturer that i thought it was useful, which was having illustration of birds display in cafe, or having bird sculptures in band stand and tree, all in Abbey Park, as they have bird sanctuary. I ended up went for window installation, and found the charity shop in Northampton, which is Northampton. I did get a permission to have my sculptures display in their window shop.
