That Special Pansy | Illustration

Image
So, I spent my Sunday last week painting that special pansy, that's from my home garden, bright orange with broken purple. As I call this That Special Pansy, so special is because it's so rare to see this particular pansy with broken colour. The purple supposedly filled the whole petals, from the back, and this somehow just like that. Here's the genuine pansy from my home garden, back in this summer. Here's also the full orange pansy close by. Lastly, here's a full video in time-lapse. Mesmerising as usual to watch the process in this speed. Hehe. Thanks for taking the time to watch and read, and have a lovely Sunday! 😁

International Rabbit Day | Watercolour Paint

Image
Yesterday I heard it was International Rabbit Day, as I'm a rabbit lover/obsessed, I thought I join in! So here's a very cute lop-eared rabbit. I did a quick paint with watercolour, although I have drawn this few months ago so that saved me some time, and I was using the old traditional Japanese brush I had since in college, even I have not used it for many years, I thought to use it for a quick paint. Halfway through the painting, I thought it looks messy, I ended up changing the brush size, from Japanese brush to fine detail brush, as I was adding some details in the hope of clear it up. Now it looks soft, better than I expected! Before I finish the post here, here's my foster dog, he's an Akita, interested in my painting. 😆 Have a lovely Sunday and thanks for reading! 😊

Happy World Bee Day | Illustration

Image
Today is World Bee Day! I'm seeing some bees buzzing around many flowers on the hottest day of the month! They're working hard to collect the pollens, so they make sweet and delicious honey and thriving all the plants! I read that my local town left so many weeds and wildflowers on the path and around the public field so that bees and other pollinating insects can do their important job! View this post on Instagram Pardon the weeds, we are feeding the bees! Look out for signs in the grass verges of Kettering and Corby Boroughs. We’re encouraging wildflowers to provide a valuable source of pollen at a time of year when there isn’t much about for bees and pollinators! Cherish The Wildflowers | Watercolour paint

Image
I do cherish all sort of wildflowers we have here, by my garden and even down the countryside field. I enjoy taking some photos of wildflowers, as well as the garden-planted flowers, that they're either vibrant, interesting and pretty. They do inspire me to draw and paint, including this watercolour paints. I replica it from the photos I took from my home garden. They haven't bloomed in my garden yet, by the way, however, there are some buds so that means they will quite soon, maybe next week. Yay. Have a nice day.
