Hellooo. It's the 16th of March, sunny day here. So yesterday, I turned 27! I had a nice lie-in in the morning even though the weather was rainy, and in the evening my family and I went out for a meal. We went to the restaurant called Wildwood that recently opened and not been there, so I thought we could try it out. I had 'Beyond Meat' Vegan Burger and it was DELICIOUS! I had a marvellous birthday. Anyway, today I'm spending my day-off, from work, to do recreate new version from my old drawing that I drew 3 years ago. I went to Cyprus on 5th June with my family, for a week. The weather was so nice, sunshine everyday, and the temperature was nicely hot. The hotel i stayed was stunning, it have the pool, with pool bar, lots of sun loungers and the beach was just straight to it. The breakfast buffets were so delicious, even had little cake for breakfast. They have tennis court that we were looking forward to play. Some family holiday snaps -  I have done some sketching, observationally, and some photographs of Cyprus' trees, flowers and plants. I'm missing the Cyprus breakfast buffet and weather, holiday blue...

In my summer break, I have done some sketches and experiments, but mostly researches, lot of researches for the dissertation, i have been trying to this the title and what to write about for my dissertation. However i thought of the nature pattern designs to write about, some work such as William Morris, this is going to be tricky. So here are some of what i did in summer. My sketch of Willow Warbler. This is my summer sketch, to improve composition on body and size. I noticed that I have improved. I want to sketch nature, British tree, possibly organic food, all British animals and birds as much as I can. And some rest of my sketches. Been played around in summer, this took me ages to figured it out and wanted to get it perfect, but tried my best and this is what i get. Quite clear enough so i’m happy with it.
