Merry Christmas!

Here's an artwork of the Blue Tit and White Christmas.

It's a different bird this time for the Christmas theme, the robin is always seen on illustration, such as cards, because of their red breast and looking fluffy, I thought blue tit could include for this theme, looking at my painting of blue tit on a Pyracantha red berries, as known as Red Firethorn, with the snow, and though it looks very festive as well as they work well together.

Here's the process of painting by using gouache paint and acrylic for the snow. Firstly, I've included a photo of Pyacrantha I took from my front garden for observational drawing.

Once I finished painting the snow,  I thought it's looks a lot like Christmas. Plus, I'm quite pleased with my attempt of painting the snow, better than I thought.

The Milkweed butterfly, also in another name of the Monarch butterfly, inspired me when I watched BBC's Spy in the Wild Series 2 in February. In episode 2 "The North", in this scene located the mountain in West Mexico, with the Spy Hummingbird capturing the place that's considered the world's most beautiful natural gathering, where the Monarch butterflies hibernated during the winter. It was Spring, the Spy hummingbird flying around millions of butterflies resting on the oyamel fir trees (I just looked it up of what kind of tree because I can't remember what it was, hehe). Bloom Wildly | Illustration

It's nearly the end of May, the weather for the last week of the month has been sun shining and over 22c of temperature, such lovely weather. So yesterday, I have been painting the dog rose flowers, that just blossomed nearly 2 weeks ago! Right now they're blooming quite wildly in my home garden and the front! This bush even grows over the tree, makes it so enchanting it's like in a magical summer garden. And with the wall, this can hang further that I can go underneath it for some shade. This one is new from the front as it hasn't grown there before, so it's the first time seeing this. And it's already climbing up the birch tree! It looks nice to look at through the window, where I work on some arts, plus good for some inspirations to illustrate! Whilst I was painting, I did another timelapse video on this.
