Bird Feeders In The Snow | Illustration

Hellooo.
This blog topic is about... SNOW. Last week, from Monday, it had been snow for a week in England, that's where I lives. I did a snow day on Saturday and I had some fun with sledding, snow angel and snowball.

 While I was indoor, staying warm, I watched quite a lot of birds hang around some bird feeders in my garden. I have the bird fatball hanged from the branch, two seed feeders filled with sunflower hearts and a cake/scrap feeder filled with seeds and nuts in lard, that sits on the wall, surround with bushes' branch.

 This actually did bring a lot of birds such as black birds, blue tits, great tits, robins and even few pigeons tempted to eat from the feeders.

 Watching them inspired me to have an idea to illustrates, as I called Bird Feeders In The Snow. Though I was in the kitchen and birds fly around a lot, so I captured these moments to memorise, I ended up with only two. Then I drew this...

 It was the first time ever I've seen the Goldfinches in my garden, it's so rare to see them in my garden, good thing to have some bird feeders.

 Now the snow has cleared up here, I like to have bird feeders out during the winter as these foods that any birds need to eat can ran out, so I leave some seeds and bird foods for them to fill up for cold months.

The Milkweed butterfly, also in another name of the Monarch butterfly, inspired me when I watched BBC's Spy in the Wild Series 2 in February. In episode 2 "The North", in this scene located the mountain in West Mexico, with the Spy Hummingbird capturing the place that's considered the world's most beautiful natural gathering, where the Monarch butterflies hibernated during the winter. It was Spring, the Spy hummingbird flying around millions of butterflies resting on the oyamel fir trees (I just looked it up of what kind of tree because I can't remember what it was, hehe). Bloom Wildly | Illustration

It's nearly the end of May, the weather for the last week of the month has been sun shining and over 22c of temperature, such lovely weather. So yesterday, I have been painting the dog rose flowers, that just blossomed nearly 2 weeks ago! Right now they're blooming quite wildly in my home garden and the front! This bush even grows over the tree, makes it so enchanting it's like in a magical summer garden. And with the wall, this can hang further that I can go underneath it for some shade. This one is new from the front as it hasn't grown there before, so it's the first time seeing this. And it's already climbing up the birch tree! It looks nice to look at through the window, where I work on some arts, plus good for some inspirations to illustrate! Whilst I was painting, I did another timelapse video on this.
