Summer Insects | Photography

It's Summer Bank Holiday today!

I had lovely long bank holiday weekend, as I have spend whole weekend and today some illustrations that I'm catching up. I have missed illustrating very, very much as I'm working on the weekday and most of the weekend I have been busy, as well as felt drained from work that I needed some relaxation.

Since the Summer is nearly end and haven't been blogged this month yet. So I thought the topic of this blog is photography.

This photography is all about the insects that I took many photos of from this summer and the past.

Here are the collections of each year in Summer.

Summer 2017

28th August : I helped this poor Large White butterfly today, he was in the middle of my garden, struggling to fly, I gave him some water from my fingers and placed him on the flowers from large flower pot if he need some nectaries as well as to rest.

9th July : Honey bee collected some pollen from the lavender.
22nd May : I saw this poor Honey bee got caught on the spider web, along came with the spider. I rescued him from the spider and placed him on Buddleja bush, as he was a bit woozy, he drank the nectar and started to collect the pollen from it.

Summer 2016

12th August : Peacock butterfly rested on the wall with some shades.

9th June : Honey bee searched some pollen in Cyprus.

Summer 2014

8th August : Honey bee searched for pollen in Rye Harbor Nature Reserve.

23rd July : Small Tortoiseshell butterfly on buddleja bush.

Summer 2013

9th August : Peacock butterfly on buddleja bush from Highcliffe beach.

That's all I have in my collection from these years. Even in 2015, I was graduated from the university and that what I spend my summer celebrated my graduation as well as my younger sister who had her GCSE and finished school. Which noticeably mean that I haven't saw insects and photograph it.

Hope you enjoyed your day on Summer Bank holiday today!
