A Wood Pigeon Cosied Up with the Autumn Leaves | Illustration

Image
Seeing the orange leaves made me wearing all of my cosy jumpers, as well as it's really cold outside! As I was warming myself up by the radiator, 2 weeks ago on Saturday, from my bedroom window I saw a pigeon perched on the Birch tree, watching me. Seeing the surrounding I was inspired, so I took out my phone to get some pictures for visual reference. This is what I see from my window: Took four photos whilst this pigeon watching me, still fluffed its' feather for warmth.    And then I started to draw! As I writing this, it's snowing here, right now! Now I'm in a mood for hot chocolate for extra cosy. Hope you have your cosiness by wrapping yourself up with a hot drink as you're reading this! Thanks for reading and have a nice evening!

Swan; Together Forever | Greeting Card | Illustration

It's the first weekend of November, the leaves are starting to change colours quite quick as well as starting to fall off the tree a lot, and the temperature went colder. Getting close to winter! In the last week of October, my next-door neighbour has got married! A few weeks before their big day, they have asked to look after their cats while they're away for a few days, agreed to do this for them, that's what nice neighbour do, hehehe. Using white on the light background was quite difficult, even though I was using a cream card. I don't want to use too much white as it will make it look too heavy, adding water ended up too washy, hence I have been experimenting for quite a while. In...

Cutie Spooky | Halloween | Illustration

Image
Hellooo and happy Halloween! For this spooky festive, means painting for Halloween illustration! As you may notice of different from my usual style, dark and eerie, to cute and spooky. So I called this artwork Cutie Spooky. There are four pumpkins with four British small birds, which are Bullfinch, Sparrow, Long-tailed Tit and Blue Tit. Had a bit of mixture from the weather, quite difficult to see the colours to paint with that weather changed from cloudy with rain to sunshine then cloudy again. But still happy with it, nothing has been ruined. Now I'm going to watch a horror film with my sister, plus, here's a cute pumpkin pie. Have a fun Halloween!
